The Baton Rouge V2 is well made laminate Mahogany body with a laser etched soundhole sun motif, and a open pore satin finish, all which give this uke a bespoke look.

The 340mm scale fingerboard is rosewood, with a 35mm wide nut, which is nubone, which helps that tone ring out. Open geared machine heads complete the picture along with the Aquila strings, giving stable tuning.
Although your eye is drawn to the front of the uke, it is the back that holds the secret to its full, rich and loud tone. The back of this soprano uke is nicely arched, giving it the volume of a concert uke with the sweetness of sound you get from a soprano body.
