The Brunswick BU4T is an ideal ukulele for a beginner who wants a bit more room on the fingerboard than you get with a concert or soprano uke. Although it still has a sweet ukulele tone, this Brunswick is perfect for guitarists who want to dabble with the uke, as they'll feel more comfortable with the tenor size.

The uke has a mahogany veneer and white binding and looks smart. It isn't fancy, but crucially it isn't expensive for what it is and it sounds really quite impressive, with plenty of volume from the Aquila strings, good projection and a balanced tone. The rosewood fingerboard and bridge are fine and it has geared machine head tuners which do the job well.

The Brunswick is very similar in specification to better-known brands like Kala and Lanikai, and sounds just as good. The difference seems to be in the setup, which isn't always as bang on - but our workshop take care of any issues for you. Overall, this instrumnet offers very good value with a nice tone and is a  great way to start the ukulele, and ideal for curious guitarists.
