The Guitar Man PU-2E passive pickup is ideal for all types of ukulele, even those which have a wider than regular saddle. The pickup has six contact points for strings... because, well, as the title suggests, it is actually a product for guitars. However, the piezo under-saddle pickup can be trimmed to the required length without problem.

To install the Guitar Man PU-2E you will need to drill your uke. But at least when installed the jack input doubles as strap button! There are some other pickups that use the same 'PU-2E' code, but these are made by different manufacturers. We like this product, have tried and tested it and are happy, so if you are looking to buy a PU-2E pickup, make sure it is the Guitar Man brand.
