Designing the Grooveline 5 string bass overr the course of three years, with dozens of prototypes, and hundreds of drawings, Ibanez never swayed from their first objective: for bass and player to share a centre of balance, whether standing up or sitting down.

This is the first thing you’ll notice when you pick up the Grooveline bass. It does not require the support of your hands, meaning you can use them for other things, like playing bass.
