The Ibanez S520EX is designed for modern extreme metal players. Heavy metallic black hardware, aggressive claw scratch inlay, dark flat finish . . . pick up this axe and disturb the world! 



The S design has proved popular with every genre from goth to gospel, and all kinds of artists use it. But Ibanez noticed an upsurge in the number of players of extreme forms of heavy rock and metal asking them for S guitars.

The S can already get the sounds of those kinds of music, as well as just about anything else, but they felt the S line-up needed a guitar with the right look for those genres . . . and so they created this S520EX extreme metal model.
