The iUke range are lovely little pocket sizes ukes, just 40cm in total length. They have 12 frets on a 26cm scale and are tuned GCEA as normal, but an octave above normal ukuleles. This gives them an advantage when playing together with other instruments as nothing else reaches quite as high! Developed in partnership with Aquila, the iUke has been nicely made with a solid cedar top that gives nice projection to the super sweet tone.

The back and sides are mahogany laminate, the neck is sapele and the fingerboard and bridge are rosewood. The uke is very light and nicely balanced thanks to the mini friction tuners. These are good quality and hold tuning very well. They're slightly fiddly but you soon get used to them. There is satin finish on the spruce top which feels nice and smooth yet allows the natural grain to show through.

With this instrument comes a gig bag which is nicely made and embroidered.
