To achieve this, it has a 26cm scale length and custom designed strings from Aquila. It is the Italian string giant and Japanese designers who have created this bit of stringed magic.

The ukulele has good quality mini friction pegs which hold tuning surprisingly well. Another surprise is the volume this uke produces, packing quite a punch given its small size. The bright tone produces a punchy, sparkling tone when strummed, while fingerpicking sounds almost like a delicate music box. True, the scale is small, but getting your fingers in the right place is part of the fun!
