On first opening the rather coo- looking case for this cornet your initial reaction will be "WOW!" It is quite simply a stunning-looking instrument. The silver-plated brass is absolutely breathtaking. The build is also wonderful. The valves are slick and perfectly sprung and the finger loops on first and third valve make fine tuning during playing a breeze. The tone is round and centered throughout the range and is wonderfully bright up top. This is the ideal instrument for any developing player who wants something really special to progress his or her learning / playing experience. Amazing value.
