This is compacted down quite firmly to give a harder pick, ideal for intricate playing, picking and a mixture between strumming and picking individual notes. Being made of felt, it doesn't give as much of a percussive 'striking' noise when it hits the strings, but it does pick out individual notes very well. It is a single pick, so you can give one a try inexpensively.
