What is a strap extender? Well... if you have a strap with a lace at one end to tie around the headstock, this little leather band takes the place of the string. It is a much neater way of attached your strap to your instrument without dangling strings which can get tangled and even pull your strings out of tune. The Jumping Cow USLX1 leather strap extender has a brass screw which you undo, then align the hole in the strap extender with the last hole on your strap, and screw the screw back together to affix the extender to the strap.
