With a very nice looking exotic mahogany laminate body and black binding, this tenor ukulele from Kala is very impressive looking. The fact the KA-TEM sounds good is more important than the looks, but it is great to have both. This tenor has Aquila strings and sounds really sweet, with plenty of volume should you need it. The build quality for the price is above average and serious beginners will really appreciate a uke of this standard.
