This Lanikai baritone ukulele, strung with DGBE tuning, delivers a big, booming tone, with plenty of bass. However, the Aquila strings and the well-made nature of the LU-21B mean that there is a good deal of treble too, making for a nicely balanced tone overall. The nato body (also called eastern mahogany - even timber companies have marketing departments these days!) is a nice, rich brown that looks great in contrast to the white binding. It has good quality geared tuners and makes a good uke for a serious beginner.
