This is the updated version of the popular LU-21TE, the newly designated LU-21TEK. The K stands for Kula, which is a model of Fishman pre-amp that this Lanikai tenor electro is equipped with. The uke itself is a good quality model for new beginners and 'improvers', i.e. those who have outgrown their first uke and want to experiment with something a bit better that can be plugged in.

As well as the Fishman electrics, the LU-21TEK has geared tuners and Aquila strings.
