Moecks are probably the most widely-used wooden recorders. Solid maple construction and good workmanship provide a flexible, warm, well-balanced sound. This model is suitable for beginners.

It is made in Germany and comes in a black cotton bag. Although rather more expensive than plastic recorders, wooden recorders offer a totally different playing experience, and are certainly recommended!
