This is a perfectly playable soprano ukulele, made from wood but covered in a printed beer bottle design, with a beer bottle shape! It is the perfect gift for the ukulele player who likes a pint or two. And, fitted with open geared tuners and Aquila strings, it sounds ok too. Now, it is true to say a beer bottle is not the normal shape for a ukulele, and it isn't optimised for sound performance, so it doesn't sound quite as good as a traditional uke at the same price, but it sounds fine and well, it is a bit of fun, isn't it!

This real-ale themed ukulele was the brainchild of UK company, Nukulele, who spent a long time getting the printing and design processes right - so the uke looks really good, right down to a printed fingerboard, which is certainly not the norm. And, it even stands up on its own, although you may not after several pints of the real thing! The company slogan is 'plink responsibly', which is a neat tag-line for a neat product.

The Nukulele beer bottle uke comes with a plain black canvas gig bag, not padded, but it keeps the flies off your pint.
