This is a wonderfully versatile instrument ideal for the trumpet student and the travelling gigging musician alike. As with the rest of the Odyssey range, this little trumpet is a triumph of quality build, great looks and unbelievable sound! The case is small and compact yet cool in design. It has rucksack straps (although it is far too small for an adult to use them) and also the conventional carry handles. The trumpet itself is as you would expect; compact and beautifully engineered. The valves are slick and well sprung and it has a well-placed thumb loop on the main tuning slide which enables you to tune easily while playing. It is not too small and can accommodate adult and child hands alike. Now we come to the sound. It has the full range of a normal trumpet and is as powerful and tuneful too. The high register is easy going with a lovely bright tone, and the trumpet can produce a full rich tone throughout the entire range. This instrument would certainly have its uses for beginners (due to its lightweight compact size) and gigging pros alike. Make no mistake this is a little trumpet with a massive heart!
