On first opening the rather cool-looking case for this cornet, your initial reaction will be " WOW!" It is quite simply a stunning-looking instrument.  The contrast between the silver- and gold-plated brass is absolutely breathtaking. The build is also wonderful. The valves are slick and perfectly sprung and the gold-plated triggers on the first and third valves make fine-tuning during playing a breeze. The tone is round and centered throughout the range and is wonderfully bright at the top. This is the ideal instrument for any developing player who wants something really special to progress his or her learning and playing experience.
