This is Ohana's Californian designed soprano ukulele. It is a good quality intermediate standard ukulele - a world away from the cheap coloured ukes. For the build quality and warm expressive sound, this mahogany ukulele is excellent value. It is a great uke to start on, or suitable for someone stepping up from the world of cheapo ukuleles!

The ukulele has a mahogany top, back and sides and has a rosewood fingerboard (this is very tidy and neat, something that can be a bit ragged on some ukuleles at this price). It has geared tuners which are decent quality and easy to operate and is fitted with GHS strings. While far from expensive, it is obviously possible to buy cheaper ukuleles - but the extra money spent beginning with this level of instrument is well worth it.
