The excellent value 505E student model is the newest member of Pearl's popular Quantz series flutes.

The 505E features the same innovative design as the more expensive flutes in the Quantz series, but with a silver plated body and headjoint to appeal to the student flautist looking for a beautifully made instrument at a reasonable cost. The silver plated headjoint is designed to make it easy for student players to produce a strong, clear tone.

All the Pearl Quantz series flutes from the 505E up include the following innovative design features:

One-piece core-Bar, resulting in an extremely reliable and comfortable mechanism which resists wear and tear and requires less frequent adjustment.

Pinless construction. Pearl use tiny socket head screws rather than more traditional needles, making the flute's action less susceptible to corrosion and less likely to snag the player's clothing.

French Pointed Arms. Previously only found on far more expensive instruments, pointed arms provide a very responsive and durable action.
