This is a nice quality banjolele that is perfect for a serious beginner to the instrument, or for someone who already has a uke and fancies branching out into the banjo ukulele world. The Performer series has a walnut neck and shell, rolled brass tone ring and a rosewood fingerboard. This 17 fret instrument has a good quality Remo coated head and excellent geared tuners.

This VPUB4 has clear nylon strings. The manufacturer doesn't specify what these are, but the sound is good - bright with a nice edge of warmth running through. The instrument is very playable- it is solidly built, looks smart and sounds impressive-the full package really.

One thing to note - this Vintage instrument doesn't come from the factory as a set-up banjolele. We do this work for you, to make sure it arrives in 'ready to play' condition. This is something to keep in mind if you are shopping around on price. So, if you are curious about playing George Formby style, want to expand your uke collection or are a dedicated banjo ukulele fan, this is a decent, strong- sounding, reasonably-priced product that, when set up in our workshop, is a fine bit of kit.
