F-style mandolin with an oval sound hole, solid spruce top and solid flamed maple back and sides in a beautiful aged natural satin finish. Using these tonewoods and a fitted ebony bridge that would be normally found on only the most expensive instruments, this Pilgrim mandolin features a scooped fingerboard which enables the player to create the power and projection of a quality F-style mandolin, and also play up the neck to produce the warmer tone of a vintage instrument.
