Primavera 200 Cello Outfit 4/4 Size (Set Up) Made By Eastman

This is the standard Primavera 200 cello outfit which includes a padded gig bag. The cello has been set up in our specialist string workshop and comes ready to play. Unlike other Primavera instruments, it is made for the American market by the Eastman String Company and represents a fantastic instrument for this price.

This excellent instrument is hand-carved and has a broad warm tone and a large dynamic range. It has a hand-carved spruce top with inlaid purfling, a solid maple back and sides, an ebony fingerboard and fitted pegs. It comes with a high quality bridge and an alloy tailpiece with integral tuners. A good quality bow is included.

The Prima 200 is a particularly good choice for students taking the middle and upper exam grades.

 The workshop set up

We check and set-up EVERY cello we sell, regardless of the model.

Our workshop process ensures that your cello will be in good playing condition upon receipt. We make sure that the action is correct and that the bridge and soundpost are in the best position.


We rosin the bow and play the instrument to make sure it is ready for use when it arrives. During transit, the movable bridge is kept in the correct position by wedges. (These are easily removed.)

The packing of the instrument should ensure no damage is likely during transit.

Do not buy cellos offered without this service, as instruments straight from the factory are NOT set-up, and the process requires technical knowledge, experience and the right equipment.
