This Stentor Conservatoire is a premium quality cello hand-made from attractive tonewoods.

It has a special formula varnish, called shellax.

The fingerboard and pegs are made of ebony. The instrument is fitted with a good-quality bridge and has an alloy tailpiece with integral adjusters.
The bow has natural horsehair and a full mounted ebony frog.
The conservatoire cello is supplied with a rigid lightweight case.
The full size cello is suitable for players aged 13 and over, as a general rule. Upgrading the strings can have a major impact on the tone. String upgrades are also available from Omega Music.
