When set-up in our string workshop, this excellent-value viola would be our recommendation for both beginners and advancing students - it features solid ebony fittings and a remarkable quality of tonewoods. The Stentor Student II viola is well-made, and can produce a good tone. This complete outfit includes a good-quality bow, rosin, and a recently-upgraded black oblong case with canvas cover and shoulder straps.

As with all medium-priced stringed instruments, a significant improvement can be made to the tone, by fitting higher quality strings, such as Pirastro or Thomastic.

These strings can be fitted when you purchase the instrument- just choose the the type and instruct us to do the job. We don't charge for this service!
