This is an interesting one, a tenor scale ukulele banjo from Tanglewood. It is nicely finished, plays well and has an interesting tone that is less harsh than many banjoleles out there. The tenor scale gives a bit more freedom to explore the fingerboard and makes it a banjolele option for those who prefer tenor ukes and don't want to change!

There is a clear skin and open back, meaning the sound is dissapated more naturally, rather than contained for that really 'zingy' banjolele sound - giving a bit more of a mellow twang to the instrument. It is fitted with good quality geared tuners and the strings, fitted at the factory, seem to suit the instrument well - though this is an area where you might want to experiment in future.
