The Alphasax is a brilliant sax, enabling younger, smaller students to learn the instrument.
33% lighter than most alto saxes, it is based on the standard alto sax design so there is the minimum of re-learning to do when moving up to a full-sized instrument.  It is also in Eb so can be easily played alongside other alto saxes.

It has the left hand palm keys for top D#, E and F removed and the top D key repositioned for smaller hands to reach. Similarly, the right hand F# and side D keys have gone and the low D# and C are repositioned. The D key remains.

Its chromatic range is low C to high D and it should be possible to get through to about AB grade 3 with this instrument (aptitude permitting).

The Alphasax is supplied as an outfit with a quality lightweight case, strap and mouthpiece.

The Alphasax is available in the traditional gold lacquered finish or in black or pink.
