The Vandoren B40 is a firm favourite amongst clarinettists due to its versatility, though it is particularly popular with orchestral players.  The profile 88 version has the same internal dimensions as the "traditional" but with a more gentle shaping of the external "beak" which many players find more comfortable in the mouth, especially when changing playing positions.

The B45's medium tip opening and medium-long facing make it suitable for all playing styles.
