Vintage V400 Solid Top Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Mahogany — The V400 is a stripped back guitar with no binding apart from the detailing of the rosette, Mahogany top, back and sides gives it a retro look, similar to the old Martin 15 series of guitars from the 30's and 40's.

This guitar is on display in our retail outlet, and has been demonstrated and  played, it is though in tip top condition, photographs are of actual guitar for sale. It is no longer in production having been replaced by the Vintage 501 series.

The sound is very pleasing, with a rich low end, and when played hard a well defined crispness in the treble range.

With a neck shape which will suit most hand sizes, the edge bound rosewood fingerboard feels smooth and easy to play, thanks to the fine gauge frets. And on the unfussy, straightforward headstock shape, the chrome plated, enclosed gear tuners are both stable and accurate in use with the high quality USA made strings, further adding to the highly enjoyable experience of playing a V400 acoustic.

It also comes with a replacement bridge saddle and bridge pin, so if you wish to lower the action further, you can file away safe in the knowledge that you can put it back to how it was….

A great guitar, and real value for money, with no binding or fancy lacquered finish, (not that there is any thing wrong with the satin finish of this guitar)the savings made in manufacture means you get a better guitar for your money.
