This instrument presents a good challenge to the dominant position of Stentor cellos. Standing slightly lower than halfway in terms of price, between Stentor student 1 and student 2, the Vivente cello has many attributes.
The spruce table is made from selected tonewoods and the pegs and fingerboard are solid ebony. The instrument has a light alloy tailpiece with 4 integral adjusters, making it ideal for students. The strings on the instrument are quite adequate but better strings will improve the tone ( see our upgraded choice.)

The outfit comes with a very smart and well-made gig bag and a brazil-wood bow.
